eBay sold medians (PriceCharting, PokeInvest); TCGplayer market price $68.08, checked Oct 26, 2026. Prices move daily.
The Japanese Mew ex FUR (135/103, 30th CELEBRATION, released 16 September 2026) sold raw for a median of $66.22 on PokeInvest and $65.15 on PriceCharting as of 25 to 26 October 2026, with PSA 10 copies at $380 to $385. Japanese shops listed it at ¥6,780 to ¥6,980 (about $43 to $44), down about 69% from the ¥22,222 launch ask. The English FUR (158/128) sells raw for $58 but $660 in PSA 10, though only 18 Japanese copies have been graded.
The Japanese Mew ex FUR (ミュウex, 135/103, 30th CELEBRATION) sells raw for a median of $66.22 on PokeInvest (96 eBay sales) and $65.15 on PriceCharting; a PSA 10 is $380 to $385. That is as of 25 to 26 October 2026, six weeks after it launched in Japan with a lowest ask of ¥22,222 (about $141). Japanese shops now list it at ¥6,780 to ¥6,980, about $43 to $44.
It is the first card of a new rarity, FUR (フューチャリスティックレア, Futuristic Rare), from the Japanese anniversary expansion 拡張パック「30th CELEBRATION」 (set code M6a), released 16 September 2026 at ¥360 for a 6-card pack (pokemon-card.com). The card is 135/103, a number above the set’s 103 regular cards, with full-card artwork by graphic artist YOSHIROTTEN (official 30th CELEBRATION page). The set has only two FURs: this one and Mewtwo ex 134/103, which had a TCGplayer market price of $32.32 on 25 October 2026.
The game text is the same as the regular Mew ex 057/103 (illustrated by aky CG Works): a Basic Psychic Pokemon with 160 HP, the Ability きおくのらせん (it can use all the attacks of your Benched Pokemon, Energy still required) and the attack テレポートブレイク (30 damage; you may switch it with a Benched Pokemon). As a Pokemon ex it gives up 2 Prize cards when Knocked Out (official card page for 057/103). Only the artwork, number and rarity differ.
Demand comes from the character, the anniversary and the debut of the rarity. Nobody publishes a FUR pull rate, so how scarce it is in a pack is unknown.
Each line is a median of completed sales, a marketplace price or a shop’s listed price, with the sample and date. Prices move daily; read these as a late-October 2026 snapshot, with yen converted at ¥158 to the dollar.
| Copy | Price | Source and date |
|---|---|---|
| Raw, near mint | $66.22 | PokeInvest, median of 96 eBay sales, 26 October 2026 |
| Raw, ungraded | $65.15 | PriceCharting, about 2 sales a day, 25 October 2026 |
| Raw, marketplace price | $68.08 | TCGplayer market price, 25 October 2026 (lowest listing $40.85, mid $69.38) |
| PSA 9 | $97.96 | PriceCharting table, 25 October 2026 (rarely sells; no sale listed) |
| PSA 10 | $380 to $385 | PriceCharting ($380, about 1 sale a day) and PokeInvest (median of 6 sales), 25 to 26 October 2026 |
| CGC 10 | $76 to $143.60 | PriceCharting, three sales on 20 October 2026 |
| Raw, Japanese shop price | ¥6,780 (about $43) and ¥6,980 (about $44) | Cardrush (27 in stock) and Yuyu-tei, 26 October 2026 |
| Raw, condition A-, Japan | ¥6,080 (about $38) | Cardrush, 166 in stock, 26 October 2026 |
The raw prices agree on about $65 to $68 in the US, but single sales are scattered: PriceCharting’s 30 raw sales from 12 to 25 October 2026 ran from $24.99 to $148, with about two-thirds between $42 and $90. Condition, language and listing quality account for much of that spread, so look at the listing before the headline number.
| Date | Japan lowest ask or shop price | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Before release (reported 9 September 2026) | ¥105,000 forecast buy price, ¥150,000 and up estimate | Samurai Sword Tokyo (forecasts, not sales) |
| 16 September 2026 (release day) | ¥22,222 (about $141) | SNKRDUNK lowest ask |
| 18 September 2026 | ¥14,000 (about $89) | SNKRDUNK lowest ask |
| 26 October 2026 | ¥6,780 to ¥6,980 (about $43 to $44) | Cardrush and Yuyu-tei listed price |
From ¥22,222 to ¥6,780 is a fall of about 69% in six weeks. Nobody official has said why, so we don’t guess. The asks are not sales, and the launch figure is the lowest seller ask on release day, not a settled price.
The gap is large on paper: about $380 for a PSA 10 against about $66 raw. But only 18 copies had been graded by PSA at the time of writing, 13 of them PSA 10 (72.2%, PokeInvest population data), and six PSA 10 sales set the median. That is too small a sample to trust a grade rate or a price. PSA’s US Standard tier was $59.99 a card with an estimated 90 to 100 business days, and PSA Japan accepts only customers in Japan (Samurai Sword Tokyo, 25 September 2026). Fees and turnaround are in grading Japanese Pokemon cards.
The English print is Mew ex 158/128 in the English 30th Celebration, also a Futuristic Rare credited to YOSHIROTTEN, released the same day, 16 September 2026 (Samurai Sword Tokyo). Pokemon.com publishes no card-by-card pairing, so the match rests on that shared credit and rarity name.

Prices and populations are PokeInvest figures and TCGplayer market prices from 25 to 26 October 2026.
Unusually, the Japanese card is the dearer one raw, by about $8 on eBay medians, while the English PSA 10 costs about 70% more ($660 against $385). With so few graded Japanese copies the PSA 10 comparison is weak; read it as a snapshot, not a pattern. Why the two languages price differently is in Japanese vs English Pokemon cards.
Don’t confuse it with the English Mew ex 152/128, a Special Illustration Rare that sold raw for a median of $91.53 and as a PSA 10 for $1,500 (PokeInvest, 26 October 2026). It is a different card.
No published report of counterfeit copies of this card turned up in our research, and this one is cheap enough that fakes are less likely than mix-ups. Check the printed details against the official card image on this page:
It is unconfirmed whether the FUR finish is physically textured (Samurai Sword Tokyo), so we can’t give a feel test for it. The general checks for foil, edges and the light test are in how to tell if Japanese Pokemon cards are fake.
In the US, TCGplayer’s lowest listing was $40.85 and eBay turns over about two raw copies a day (PriceCharting), at the $65 to $68 above. Buying from a US seller means no customs paperwork.
In Japan the sticker price is lower: ¥6,780 at Cardrush (27 in stock) and ¥6,980 at Yuyu-tei, about $43 to $44. Then add the trip. Shipments from Japan to the US have paid a combined 12.5% duty since 24 July 2026 under the Section 301 action (Holland & Knight), about $5 on a $43 card. Japan Post EMS to the US costs ¥3,900 (about $25) for up to 500 g, and USPS charges $9.35 per dutiable item on inbound mail that owes duty (Notice 123, effective 4 October 2026).
That is roughly $73 before insurance and the USPS fee, against $65 to $68 from a US eBay seller. For a single card, buying in Japan does not save money; it starts to pay when you put several cards in one parcel. The full build-up is in shipping from Japan to the US and the seller options in where to buy Japanese Pokemon cards. Readers outside the US pay their own country’s import rules; the Japanese prices are the same.
We don’t sell anything yet. When that changes, our listing will be labeled, and the prices here stay what collectors have paid elsewhere.
The set has 103 regular cards plus a secret-rare block: 20 AR (104 to 123), 10 SAR (124 to 133), the two FURs (134 and 135) and a Classic Collection of cards numbered 136 to 165, along with eight Basic Energy designed by YOSHIROTTEN (Samurai Sword Tokyo, 25 September 2026, compiled from promotional images because the secret block was not yet in the official database). The English set released the same day, so there is no gap between them; set pairings are in Japanese sets and their English equivalents. Other Mew cards, from TCGplayer market prices on 25 October 2026:
| Card | Number | Raw price |
|---|---|---|
| Mew ex FUR | 135/103 | $68.08 |
| Mew ex SAR | 129/103 | $69.01 (Yuyu-tei ¥5,980, about $38) |
| Mewtwo ex FUR | 134/103 | $32.32 |
| Mew ex RR | 057/103 | $1.06 |
The Japanese booster box had a market price of $210.88 on TCGplayer (lowest listing $200), against ¥23,500 to ¥28,500 (about $149 to $180) at Samurai Sword Tokyo on 25 September 2026; a single pack is ¥360 (about $2.28) at the official price. What the rarity codes mean is in Japanese Pokemon card rarity symbols.

FUR stands for Futuristic Rare (フューチャリスティックレア), a new rarity introduced with 30th CELEBRATION. Mew ex is the first FUR in the game's history; the set has only two, Mew ex 135/103 and Mewtwo ex 134/103. The artwork is by graphic artist YOSHIROTTEN.
