SAR メガゲッコウガex
eBay sold medians (PriceCharting, PokeInvest); TCGplayer market price $224.57, checked Oct 25, 2026. Prices move daily.
The Japanese Mega Greninja ex SAR (114/083, Ninja Spinner, 13 March 2026) sold raw for a median of $155 on PokeInvest and $125.35 on PriceCharting as of 25 October 2026, with PSA 10 copies at about $185 to $230. Japanese shops listed it at ¥17,800 (about $113). TCGplayer's $224.57 market price sits above those PSA 10 medians. The English Chaos Rising SIR (116/086) has the same Susumu Maeya artwork but a PSA 10 near $354, because 93.6% of Japanese copies grade 10 against 67.8% of English ones.
The Japanese Mega Greninja ex SAR (メガゲッコウガex, 114/083, Ninja Spinner) sells raw for a median of $155 on PokeInvest (65 eBay sales) and $125.35 on PriceCharting; a PSA 10 is about $185 to $230. That is as of 25 October 2026, and Japanese shops listed it at ¥17,800 (about $113) on 26 October. TCGplayer’s $224.57 “market price” is the odd one out, and it is explained below.
It is the Special Art Rare (SAR) print of Mega Greninja ex from the Japanese expansion Ninja Spinner (拡張パック「ニンジャスピナー」, set code M4), released 13 March 2026 at ¥180 for a 5-card pack (pokemon-card.com). The card is 114/083, a secret-rare number above the set’s 83 base cards, illustrated by Susumu Maeya. It is the only one of the four Japanese Mega Greninja ex prints with a different artist: the regular, SR and gold prints are by takuyoa (official database, via Samurai Sword Tokyo).
The game text is shared by all four prints: a Stage 2 Water Pokemon with 350 HP, an Ability ひっさつしゅりけん (discard a Basic Energy from your hand to put 6 damage counters on one of your opponent’s Pokemon) and an attack ニンジャスピナー (120 damage, plus 80 more if you return an Energy attached to it to your hand). As a Mega Evolution ex, it gives up 3 Prize cards when Knocked Out (official card page).
Nobody publishes pull rates for Japanese packs, so how scarce it is in a box is unknown. What the data does show is how many have been graded: 22,743 PSA submissions by 25 October 2026 (PokeInvest, republishing PSA population).
Each line is a median of completed sales, a marketplace price or a shop’s listed price, with the sample and date. Prices move daily; read these as a late-October 2026 snapshot, with yen converted at ¥158 to the dollar (Federal Reserve H.10, 19 October 2026).
| Copy | Price | Source and date |
|---|---|---|
| Raw, near mint | $155.00 | PokeInvest, median of 65 eBay sales (range $78.77 to $235), 25 October 2026 |
| Raw, ungraded | $125.35 | PriceCharting, about 1 sale a day; nine of twelve sales 16 to 24 October were $91 to $135 |
| Raw, marketplace price | $224.57 | TCGplayer market price, 25 October 2026 (lowest listing $120.91, mid $184.47) |
| PSA 9 | $142.50 | PokeInvest, median of 35 eBay sales, 25 October 2026 |
| PSA 10 | $184.50 | PokeInvest, median of 133 eBay sales (65 of them in the last 86 days), 25 October 2026 |
| PSA 10 | $227.29 | PriceCharting table; 29 sales 12 to 25 October ran $145 to $315.90, median $202 |
| Raw, Japanese shop price | ¥17,800 (about $113) | Yuyu-tei (7 in stock) and Cardrush (260 in stock), 26 October 2026 |
| Raw, condition A-, Japan | ¥16,300 (about $103) | Cardrush, 26 October 2026 |
| PSA 10, Japanese shop | ¥29,800 (about $189) | Cardrush (1 in stock), 26 October 2026 |
| Raw, Mercari JP asks | ¥12,555 (slight damage) to ¥20,900 (unused) | OneMall’s sweep of live Mercari JP listings, 25 October 2026 (asks, not sales) |
Its $224.57 market price is above both PSA 10 medians, and above its own mid price of $184.47 and lowest listing of $120.91 on the same day. We cannot see how many sales sit behind it (TCGplayer blocks fetching), but the gap points to thin trading on that site, where a few high sales can lift the figure. eBay sold medians and Japanese shop prices agree with each other far better, so $113 to $155 is the range to expect for a near-mint raw copy, and $225 is the high end.
Rarely. PSA graded 22,743 copies and 21,281 of them (93.6%) came back a 10, so the slab is not scarce. PokeInvest’s calculator on 25 October 2026 showed a loss of about $33 per card after a $60 grading fee. Fees and turnaround are in grading Japanese Pokemon cards.
Other graders trade thinner: a CGC Pristine 10 had a median of $375.60 across 8 sales, down 44% on the prior 90 days, and a CGC 10 (Gem Mint) $110.80 across 7 sales (PokeInvest, 25 October 2026).
The English print is Mega Greninja ex 116/086, a Special Illustration Rare in Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising, released 22 May 2026 (pokemon.com). It carries the same Susumu Maeya illustration, according to Limitless TCG as reported by Samurai Sword Tokyo; pokemon.com does not publish card-by-card pairings. The two differ in number, language, set and, above all, in what a PSA 10 costs.
| Japanese SAR 114/083 | English SIR 116/086 | |

| Set and release | Ninja Spinner (M4), 13 March 2026 | Chaos Rising, 22 May 2026 |
| Raw median | $155.00 (65 sales) | $130.00 (200 sales) |
| TCGplayer market price | $224.57 | $111.41 |
| PSA 9 median | $142.50 (35 sales) | $140.75 (144 sales) |
| PSA 10 median | $184.50 (133 sales) | $353.50 (280 sales) |
| PSA graded, gem rate | 22,743, 93.6% | 9,646, 67.8% |
All figures are 25 October 2026; medians and populations are from PokeInvest, market prices from TCGplayer.
The pattern matches the other MEGA-era cards: raw prices are close, but the English PSA 10 costs about twice the Japanese one because a third of English submissions miss the 10. If you want the artwork cheaply, the Japanese card is the route; if you want the scarce slab, it is the English one. Why the two languages gem so differently is in Japanese vs English Pokemon cards.
The gold cards are not close at all. The Japanese gold Mega Greninja ex MUR 120/083 had a TCGplayer market price of $432.49 against $114.20 for the English Mega Hyper Rare 122/086 (25 October 2026), and sold out at Yuyu-tei at ¥49,800 (about $315) on 26 October.
No published report of counterfeits of this specific card turned up in our research. The best hands-on account we found is one collector’s breakdown of a fake MEGA-era Japanese SAR (Mega Charizard X), so treat its checks as likely to carry over, not proven for this card. Start with the details printed on the card:
The same breakdown reports that the fake style was resold mostly on Vinted from AliExpress sources at about €18 to €26 per card, a price that should make any “bargain” suspicious. The full walk-through is in how to tell if Japanese Pokemon cards are fake.
In Japan the sticker price is lower: ¥17,800 at Yuyu-tei and Cardrush (about $113), ¥16,300 for condition A- at Cardrush (about $103), and SNKRDUNK lowest asks of ¥14,000 raw and ¥39,000 PSA 10 on 7 October 2026 (asks, not sales). Then add the trip. Shipments from Japan to the US have paid a combined 12.5% duty since 24 July 2026 under the Section 301 action (Holland & Knight), so a ¥17,800 card carries about $14 of duty. Japan Post EMS to the US costs ¥3,900 (about $25) for a parcel up to 500 g, and USPS charges a $9.35 customs clearance and delivery fee per dutiable item on inbound mail that owes duty (Notice 123, effective 4 October 2026).
For a single card at about $113, that is roughly $152 before insurance and any proxy fee, against $125 to $155 from a US eBay seller with no customs paperwork. The saving only appears when you buy several cards in one parcel. The full cost build-up is in shipping from Japan to the US and the seller options in where to buy Japanese Pokemon cards. Readers outside the US pay their own country’s import rules; the Japanese prices are the same.
We don’t sell anything yet. When that changes, our listing will be labeled, and the prices here stay what collectors have paid elsewhere.
Ninja Spinner has 83 regular cards and 37 secret rares, 120 in total: 12 AR, 18 SR, 6 SAR and one MUR (official database, via Samurai Sword Tokyo). It is the fourth MEGA-era expansion and became the English Chaos Rising 70 days later; set pairings are in Japanese sets and their English equivalents. The other cards by price, from TCGplayer market prices on 25 October 2026:
| Card | Number | Raw price |
|---|---|---|
| Mega Greninja ex MUR (gold) | 120/083 | $432.49 (lowest listing $247.90) |
| Mega Greninja ex SAR | 114/083 | $224.57 |
| Cinccino ex (チラチーノex) SAR | 117/083 | $32.14 |
| Mega Dragalge ex SAR | 116/083 | $11.63 |
| Mega Floette ex SAR | 115/083 | $11.47 |
| Mega Greninja ex SR | 098/083 | $8.74 |
| AZ’s Tranquility (AZの安らぎ) SAR | 118/083 | $7.23 |
| Roxie’s Performance (ホミカの演奏) SAR | 119/083 | $6.91 |
A booster box of 30 packs (TCGplayer’s product data; pokemon-card.com does not state packs per box) had a market price of $76.01 and a lowest listing of $68.50, with single packs at $2.24. At ¥180 a pack, 30 packs list at ¥5,400 (about $34) in Japan. What the rarity codes mean is in Japanese Pokemon card rarity symbols.

As of 25 October 2026 raw copies sold on eBay for a median of $155 (PokeInvest, 65 sales) and PriceCharting put the ungraded price at $125.35; Japanese shops listed it at ¥17,800 (about $113) on 26 October. TCGplayer's market price of $224.57 is far above where the card actually trades.
TCGplayer's $224.57 market price (25 October 2026) sits above the PSA 10 medians of $184.50 (PokeInvest) and, at $227.29, PriceCharting's table is only slightly lower. Few sellers list the Japanese card there, so a handful of high sales set the figure; the site's own lowest listing was $120.91 and its mid price $184.47 the same day.
Yes. 21,281 of 22,743 PSA-graded copies are PSA 10 (93.6%), per PSA population data republished by PokeInvest on 25 October 2026. That is why a PSA 10 sells for only $30 to $75 more than a raw copy and why PokeInvest's calculator shows a loss of about $33 per card after a $60 grading fee.
Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising 116/086, a Special Illustration Rare with the same Susumu Maeya artwork, released 22 May 2026. It sold raw for a median $130 and as a PSA 10 for $353.50 (PokeInvest, 25 October 2026), so the English PSA 10 costs roughly twice the Japanese one.
Ninja Spinner (ニンジャスピナー, M4), a Japanese MEGA-era expansion released 13 March 2026 at ¥180 for a 5-card pack. The SAR is number 114/083, one of 37 secret rares above the 83-card base set.
