SAR メガレックウザex
TCGplayer market price (raw); PokeInvest median of 173 eBay sales (PSA 10), checked Oct 25, 2026. Prices move daily.
The Japanese Mega Rayquaza ex SAR 110/076 from Storm Emeralda (M6, 31 July 2026) has a TCGplayer market price of $269.87 raw and a PSA 10 median of $564 over 173 eBay sales as of 25 October 2026. Japanese asks were ¥138,000 (about $870) on launch evening; Japanese shops now list it at ¥29,800 to ¥32,800. 95.8% of 2,502 PSA-graded copies are PSA 10. The English print is expected in Mega Evolution: Delta Reign on 6 November 2026, but no number or rarity has been published.
The Japanese Mega Rayquaza ex SAR (メガレックウザex, 110/076) from Storm Emeralda sells for about $270 raw (TCGplayer market price $269.87, 25 October 2026) and $564 as a PSA 10 (PokeInvest median of 173 eBay sales, same date), as of October 2026. That is a long way down from the ¥138,000 (about $870) Japanese shops asked on launch evening, 31 July 2026. Below: what the card is, what each grade sells for, where the English version stands, how to check a copy is real, and what one costs delivered from Japan.
It is the Special Art Rare print of Mega Rayquaza ex, the mascot of the MEGA expansion pack Storm Emeralda (ストームエメラルダ, M6), released in Japan on 31 July 2026 at ¥200 for a 5-card pack (pokemon-card.com). The official database lists the SAR as card 110/076, illustrated by Kazuki Minami, a Basic Pokemon with 280 HP. Its attack, also called Storm Emeralda, does 50 damage for each Fire and Lightning Energy on all of your Pokemon, and as a Mega Evolution ex it gives up 3 Prize cards when Knocked Out.
Rayquaza is a card the hobby already knows how to chase. The same Pokemon has four prints in this one set: the regular RR 058/076, an SR 095/076, this SAR 110/076, and the gold MUR 113/076 (Samurai Sword Tokyo card list; pokemon-card.com cards 50551 and 50554). The SAR is the illustration slot most collectors chase; the gold MUR is the pricier top slot. Pokemon.com has also made Mega Rayquaza ex the featured card of the next English set, so people in the US are watching the Japanese price while they wait.
Two numbers explain the demand better than adjectives. PokeInvest counted 127 raw eBay sales in 38 days to 25 October 2026 and tags the card “top 10% of cards” for sales volume. And 2,396 of the 2,502 copies PSA has graded came back PSA 10, a 95.8% rate that tops PokeInvest’s list of easiest cards to gem among cards with 1,000 or more grades (data updated 25 October 2026). It is a card people buy to grade.
Prices below are for the Japanese SAR 110/076. Dates matter here: the card has been falling since July, and the three US trackers disagree by about $50 on the raw price.
| Grade | Price | Source and date |
|---|---|---|
| Raw (near mint) | $269.87 market; lowest listing $229 | TCGplayer, 25 October 2026 |
| Raw | $245.63 median of 127 eBay sales | PokeInvest, 25 October 2026 |
| Raw | $219.35 ungraded | PriceCharting, 25 October 2026 |
| PSA 9 | $203.50 median of 15 sales | PokeInvest, 25 October 2026 |
| PSA 10 | $564.00 median of 173 sales | PokeInvest, 25 October 2026 |
| PSA 10 | $527.50 | PriceCharting, 25 October 2026 |
| CGC Pristine 10 | $880.00 median of 27 sales | PokeInvest, 25 October 2026 |
The raw spread is real, not a typo. TCGplayer’s market price is what buyers paid on TCGplayer, where listings are mostly US sellers with US shipping. The eBay medians sit $25 to $50 lower, and PriceCharting’s single sales from 22 to 25 October 2026 ran $164.21, $218.70, $230.00 and $240.83. If you are buying, the eBay figures are the better guide to a fair price; if you are selling on TCGplayer, the higher figure is the one you see.
PSA 10 sales are noisy too. The ten PSA 10 sales PriceCharting logged from 21 to 25 October 2026 ran from $427.69 to $710.00, most of them between $465 and $500. Call it $530 to $565 and expect a wide band around it. One oddity worth knowing: a PSA 9 sells for less than many raw copies (October 2026 PSA 9 sales of $147.50 to $203.50 on PriceCharting). When 95.8% of copies grade 10, a 9 tells buyers the card has a flaw they can’t see in the photo.
Japanese shop prices are asks, not sales, but they show the floor collectors in Japan pay. All yen figures convert at ¥158 to the dollar (Federal Reserve H.10, 16 October 2026).
| Seller | Condition | Price | Date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yuyu-tei | shop standard | ¥29,800 (about $189), 8 in stock | 26 October 2026 |
| Cardrush | A- | ¥32,800 (about $208), 350 in stock | 26 October 2026 |
| Cardrush | B | ¥24,800 (about $157) | 26 October 2026 |
| Cardrush | PSA 10 | ¥84,800 (about $537), sold out | 26 October 2026 |
| SNKRDUNK (lowest ask) | A-grade | ¥29,800 (about $189) | 29 September 2026 |
| SNKRDUNK (lowest ask) | PSA 10 | ¥90,500 (about $573) | 29 September 2026 |
Cardrush holding 350 copies at A- is a useful signal: this is not a scarce card in Japan right now. Set against the launch-day story (asks of ¥118,000 on the morning of 31 July 2026, ¥138,000 by evening, per Samurai Sword Tokyo), the SAR lost roughly three-quarters of its yen price in under three months. PriceCharting’s ungraded figure was still down $29.19 on 25 October. Where it goes from here is not something we predict.
There is no English print to compare yet. Pokemon.com announced on 20 August 2026 that Mega Rayquaza ex “is coming to the Pokémon Trading Card Game” in Mega Evolution: Delta Reign, which releases on 6 November 2026 with “over 135 cards” and “over 35 cards with special illustrations”. The 23 October 2026 product showcase repeats the date and lists 36-pack display boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes with a Kyogre promo, and Build & Battle Boxes for Prerelease events.
What pokemon.com has not published, as of 26 October 2026: the English card number, whether there is a Special Illustration Rare (the English name for the SAR slot) of Mega Rayquaza ex, and whether the set is built from Storm Emeralda at all. Hobby sites treat Delta Reign as the English Storm Emeralda because it headlines the same four Mega ex (Rayquaza, Golurk, Malamar, Golisopod), and a partial fan list circulates a number, but Samurai Sword Tokyo noted on 1 October 2026 that no English Mega Rayquaza ex card had been shown and we have not seen one since. We will add the English number, price and a side-by-side once the set is out.
Rayquaza is a target. PSA’s 2025 fraud report, as reported by ICv2 on 8 May 2026, lists Rayquaza among the ten most-counterfeited subjects and names the older M Rayquaza EX from Roaring Skies among the fastest-growing fakes, up 520% year over year. A new $270 card with a 95.8% gem rate is exactly the kind of card a counterfeiter copies. Checks that apply to this card:

In the US, TCGplayer’s lowest listing was $229 and eBay was turning over about two raw sales a day (TCGplayer and PriceCharting, 25 October 2026). Both ship domestically with buyer protection, and both price the card higher than Japan does. We do not sell this card, and the comparison below is for your own math.
From Japan, Yuyu-tei lists it at ¥29,800 (about $189) and Cardrush at ¥32,800 (about $208) for an A- copy on 26 October 2026, with hundreds in stock. Getting one to the US adds, as of October 2026: EMS postage of ¥3,900 (about $25) for a parcel up to 500 g (Japan Post), US import duty of 12.5% of the declared value on trading cards from Japan (about $24 on a $189 card; HTS 9504.40 is duty-free but the Section 301 rate for Japan applies from 24 July 2026), and a $9.35 USPS customs clearance fee when the duty is collected at delivery. That lands the Yuyu-tei copy at roughly $247 before any proxy fee, which is close to the eBay median and under TCGplayer’s market price. The saving is small on a single card and disappears if you need a proxy; it gets better when you combine several cards in one parcel. Readers outside the US pay their own country’s import tax instead of the 12.5%.
Where to buy Japanese Pokemon cards compares the shops and proxies, how to buy Pokemon cards from Japan walks through one order step by step, and shipping from Japan to the US covers the duty and carrier fees in detail.
Storm Emeralda (ストームエメラルダ, M6) is the MEGA-series expansion pack released on 31 July 2026 at ¥200 per 5-card pack, so a 30-pack box is ¥6,000 (about $38) at Japanese retail. In the US the same box had a TCGplayer market price of $95.65 on 24 October 2026. The set has 113 printed numbers: a 76-card base set and 37 secret rares numbered 077 to 113, split into 12 AR, 18 SR, 6 SAR and 1 MUR (Samurai Sword Tokyo card list, checked 1 October 2026). Its mechanic is the two-part Legendary Stadium: two halves played together as one Stadium, such as Legendary Summit, which makes a Knocked Out Colorless Pokemon give up one Prize fewer. No official pull rates exist; a community sample of 46 boxes on TCGTalk pulled two SAR Rayquaza and two MUR Rayquaza, which is a small sample and nothing more.
Other cards in the set worth knowing, with TCGplayer market prices from 25 October 2026:
| Card | Rarity | Price | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mega Rayquaza ex 113/076 | MUR | $747.33 (lowest $448.99) | The gold top slot, by takuyoa. Yuyu-tei lists it at ¥69,800 (about $442), sold out. |
| Raikou ex 108/076 | SAR | $43.76 | The second-priciest SAR in the set. |
| Zinnia’s Trust 112/076 | SAR | $21.63 | The pricier of the set’s two Trainer SARs. |
| Mega Rayquaza ex 095/076 | SR | $19.37 | Same card, plain full art by 5ban Graphics; ¥1,980 at Yuyu-tei. |
The rest of the SAR block (Mega Golurk ex 109, Mega Golisopod ex 107, Aarune 111) sits between $7 and $17, so the set’s value is concentrated in two Rayquaza cards. The same pattern shows in the other 2026 MEGA sets; compare Mega Darkrai ex SAR from Abyss Eye and Mega Charizard X ex SAR from Inferno X. A fifth Japanese Mega Rayquaza ex artwork, a Mega Attack Rare numbered 218/165, was shown in an official video on 31 August 2026 and is reported for a February 2027 high class pack, but as of 1 October 2026 it had no product page (Samurai Sword Tokyo).

It has fallen a long way from launch. Japanese asks were ¥138,000 (about $870) on the evening of 31 July 2026, SNKRDUNK's lowest A-grade ask was ¥29,800 on 29 September, and Yuyu-tei listed it at ¥29,800 on 26 October 2026. PriceCharting's ungraded figure was down $29 on 25 October. What it does next is not something we predict.
pokemon.com names Mega Rayquaza ex as the featured card of Mega Evolution: Delta Reign, releasing 6 November 2026 with over 35 cards with special illustrations. As of 26 October 2026 it has not published a card number or shown an English Special Illustration Rare of it.
95.8%: 2,396 of 2,502 PSA-graded copies are PSA 10 (PSA population as republished by PokeInvest, 25 October 2026). That is the highest gem rate of any card with 1,000 or more grades in PokeInvest's table.
No. The gold Mega Ultra Rare Mega Rayquaza ex 113/076 is the top slot, with a TCGplayer market price of $747.33 on 25 October 2026 against $269.87 for the SAR. A community sample of 46 boxes pulled two of each.
